herniated a disk in upper back

I have been receiving chiropractic adjustments since 1968 when I slipped a disk in my lower back. Before I was smart enough to go to a chiropractor I was taken to the hospital and was put into bed for two weeks using muscle relaxants, pain killers, etc. At the end of the two week period I was still in pain and not able to straighten up and walk. I called a chiropractic office for an appointment and luckily they told me to come right in. I could not walk going in but I certainly could walk coming out. That was all it took to convince me that chiropractic care works. Since that time I have received adjustments on a regular basis. Now my husband also goes to a chiropractor on a regular basis (this is a miracle in itself). He has worked as an operating engineer for 43 years. Anyone knows operating heavy equipment in all weather takes a toll on the body. About four years ago he had herniated a disk in his upper back and was told by the medical doctor that they wanted to operate to relieve pain. Only, the risks were a little on the unfair side. They said it might not do any good or he could be paralyzed. After a little convincing (by me) he decided to go to a chiropractor. At first the chiropractor had to adjust him by leaning him up against a wall because he could not lay down. The chiropractor worked on Tom three times a week for two or three weeks until he felt better. After a month or so he was feeling pretty good so he continued chiropractic care on a regular basis. He has had slipped disks, herniated disks, and heart problems and finds that chiropractic care works for all.

We moved to Arizona in June and we feel blessed that our daughter found Dr. Mancuso. We appreciate the fact that he is continuing our family chiropractic care.

Thank you Dr. Mancuso
